6 a.m. to noon,
6 p.m. to to midnight

A thirty-six hour performance,
taking place over the course of three days,
in which I lock myself into a 9’ x 11’ x 10” room
covered in green chalkboards.


in this room there are a stack of white chalk,
a chalkboard eraser and a four foot step ladder.
I write the phrase – “I will not have a body.” –
continuously and repetitively,
until I have written the phrase on every inch
of the walls, ceiling, and floor.
The room is then erased entirely
and the process begins again,
without cessation.
